It’s that time of year again ~ time to get hopping! Borough Gallery & Studio is thrilled to open their doors for the SOUTH END ART HOP; Vermont’s largest and most exciting art event of the year with over 500 artists on display in over 100 locations, hosted by SEABA (South End Arts and Business Association). The gallery, (located at 180 Flynn Avenue, through the SEABA entrance, in Burlington’s South End), will start off the weekend by opening Friday, September 11th, from 5pm to 9pm; and will continue on Saturday from 10am to 5pm. In addition to Borough Gallery & Studio, Rivulette, Vintage Inspired/Miss Pickles Attic, and the SEABA Gallery will also open their doors; and numerous local artists will be on display throughout our 180 Flynn hallways.

For the 2009 SOUTH END ART HOP, Borough Gallery & Studio is wildly ecstatic to present to Burlington an exhibition featuring such vivid and passionate artists whose work can truly be felt as well as seen. On display are paintings by Shawna Cross and Jodi Whalen; installations by Emily Wilson; and “Sticks on Stones” – functional, designer sculpture by Brodie Voellinger.

Come by and enjoy some art, some wine, and some fantastic August First bread! If you are unable to attend the opening, the exhibit will extend until October 1st. To schedule a tour please contact Shawna Cross via email at shawnacross@gmail.com; Jodi Whalen, jodi.whalen@gmail.com; or Emily Wilson, ewilson.art@gmail.com
