“your artistic career begins with the artistic community that you build”

It’s a crazy busy time over here at Borough! We’re prepping and working away towards our upcoming group exhibition which centers around the idea of “home” and what it means through the artist’s eye. We’re very excited about this show and about delving into an area that literature has questioned time and time again. We will be featuring several fantastic local artists, as well as some truly fantastic artists from NY and Philadelphia…it will be a show you WON’T want to miss! We still have a few spots open, so if you’re interested please contact us at boroughgallery@gmail.com with a brief statement about your work and, of course, images.  Be sure to get in touch soon, as application deadlines are next week!

However, through the excitement of this show, we’re also sad to see one of our wonderful resident artists leave. This means that we now have an opening in our studio/gallery , starting November 1st. We have a gorgeous space to both create and display your work, and we have small quiet rooms for writers or other non-visual artists as well. We are incredibly lucky to be part of a building full of such fantastic artists and businesses (SEABA, Rivulette, Vintage Inspired & Miss Pickles Attic; just to name a few) and are looking forward to what a new addition in Borough will bring! If you’re interested in joining us, please send an email to boroughgallery@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Let’s see what November brings us! Get involved in your artistic community!
